Shared Heritage Africa: Rediscovering Masterpieces 13th – 17th Feb 2023

This two-year project, ‘Shared Heritage Africa: Rediscovering Masterpieces’ spearheaded by DOCOMOMO Germany seeks to promote sustainable urban and social development through the documentation and conservation of built cultural heritage across Africa. This project is directed at capacity building in the area of modern heritage of Africa, in line with the Twentieth-Century Historic Thematic Framework developed by the Getty Conservation Institute.
