(Prof))<\/strong>. Students can also opt for Master\u2019s degrees in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Animation and Film Making, Project Planning and Management, and Engineering.<\/p><p>The Bachelor of Environmental Design (Honours) serves as <strong>Part I <\/strong>of the three-year professional programme in architecture, and is a prerequisite for the Master of Architecture (Professional) programme <strong>(Part II)<\/strong>, a two-calendar year programme for students seeking to become professional architects.<\/p><p>Both courses are recognised and validated by the <strong>Uganda National Council for Higher Education<\/strong> (NCHE) <a href=\"https:\/\/unche.or.ug\/\">https:\/\/unche.or.ug\/<\/a>, the <strong>Uganda Society of Architects<\/strong> (USA), and the <strong>Architects Registration Board<\/strong> (ARB) <a href=\"https:\/\/arbuganda.go.ug\/\">https:\/\/arbuganda.go.ug\/<\/a>.<\/p><p>The programme is also validated by the <strong>Commonwealth Association of Architects<\/strong> (CAA) <a href=\"https:\/\/commonwealtharchitects.org\">https:\/\/commonwealtharchitects.org<\/a>, and on the CAA list of Qualifications in Architecture recommended for recognition.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About us Faculty of the Built Environment (FoBE) More about the Faculty of the Built Environment (FoBE) The Faculty of the Built Environment (FoBE) (formerly Building Technology and Architecture FBTA) started in September 2000 with support from the Flemish Interuniversity Council (VLIR) grant, in collaboration with Ghent University.
